SGH worked with this Financial Client to create a space that reflects the landscape of its location, Nanaimo, British Columbia. This 12,000 sq.ft space used skylights to allow the space to be engulfed in natural light and high ceilings with acoustical clouds give the sense of being outdoors. The workspace is an open concept layout with touchdown areas that feature suspended wood slats and a bright teal carpet to represent the city’s Harbourfront Walkway. The cafe is designed to recreate outdoor seating with metal frames around booths and filled with brightly coloured furniture, walls and millwork.
