Sam is the connective thread between our Vancouver studio and the industry surrounding it. At the forefront of business development, Sam combines her interest in people (she is a Psychology graduate, after all) with a growing knowledge of interior design, to forge meaningful partnerships between SGH, construction firms, project managers, real estate professionals, and anyone seeking design expertise.

Sam approaches every introduction with genuine curiosity about the people behind the company. She is interested not only in how SGH can help support a client’s needs, but in how the people behind the project can work together at every stage of development. Sam believes that good people do good work, and aims to bring out the best in others through each interaction.

Approach

When I first started at SGH, I was intimidated by the sheer number of people I would need to meet and get to know. Now, I’m grateful for the opportunity to connect with so many kind and helpful professionals. I’ve learned to simply show up as myself, build genuine connections, and meet people where they are.

Knowing I’m building relationships I can rely on makes me look forward to every coffee or lunch meeting on my calendar. I’ll continue expanding my network and building meaningful connections with colleagues I’m excited to work with, and who I hope are equally excited to work with me and our studio.
